G. T. Trading Co. offers export services to dealers and distributors who have sold firearms to buyers in foreign countries but do not have a means to get the firearms to the buyers.

Our fees are $600.00 for 1 to 5 firearms plus an additional fee of $50.00 for each additional weapon. This is a fee for the export service only and does not include fees such as freight from dealer or distributor to the freight forwarder, freight to the destination, duty, customs clearance, broker's fees, storage, etc. that will be payable at the buyers end.

Our fee is not refundable in the event that the application is denied. 

The merchandise must be well packaged when sent to us.  NOTE: we plan on using your packaging for shipment overseas. If, based on our experience, the packaging is deemed inappropriate for overseas shipment, we will repack it and there will be an additional charge.  We do not take chances with poor packaging. 

Requirement from the buyer in the foreign country:

1. The buyer must provide us with a purchase order, providing their name,       address, phone number, fax number, and a detailed list of the items they are purchasing. The list must include the manufacturer, model number, caliber, serial number and purchase price. It is best that this be typed so that it can be more easily read. We prefer an original, not a faxed copy.
2. The buyer must provide us with an original import certificate or a notarized or certified copy of the same. This must be mailed to us, NOT faxed, as we are required to have the original or certified or notarized copy in our possession.
3. If the import certificate is NOT in English, then we must have a certified or notarized translation of the import license. This must also be mailed to us, NOT faxed.
4. If the country the goods are being shipped to does not require an import license, please be sure to clearly note that on the purchase order.
5. If the shipment is for 50 guns or more, we also need to have a DSP-83 filled out. We can supply this form if it becomes necessary.

After we receive all documents and payment, we will apply for the export permit. This can be a relatively quick approval, perhaps in three weeks, or it can take as long as two months. We have no control over how long it takes to get approval from the U.S. State Department.
